TRAI RESTRICTION HINDERS GOOGLE SMS CHAT IN INDIA

Google introduced its SMS chat in 2008 in various countries with the cooperation of a wide number of telecom operators in the respective countries. Google was trying for introducing SMS chat in India. They had conducted talks with the telecom regulatory authority but with the newly imposed restriction of 100 SMS per day the Google SMS chat may be hindered in India. With Google SMS chat we can send SMS to any mobile number in the permitted nations. One can send SMS from India but not to India. Sending SMS has become a cheaper thing. Yahoo messenger had introduced it but later made it pay and use.

The Telecom regulatory Authority of India has been ticked off from various parts of the country for its new restriction. Although it has reduced the number of pesky calls and SMS, the schools and other educational institutions, hospitals, blood donation centres, non profitable organisations etc., which heavily depend on SMS facility suffers a lot owing to the new restriction. Those who haven't familiarised the usage of SMS can follow the steps below.

1. Under all tabs on the left side you can find CHAT and SMS

2. Enter the number and press SMS

3. Select the country. Make sure the telecom operator is supported in that country with the help of the
link provided.

This is the most recent spam reported in Facebook.
The spam asks you to make this your updated status so that you won't loose
your current membership. The spam says that only premium members can access Facebook thereafter. It also puts an immediate deadline so that people do not get time to confirm the veracity of the statements. Since Facebook has become an addiction to hundreds of thousands of people, the spam hackers have made this social networking site their playground. One can easily understand the non-sense behind this spam. In times where Google has come out with Google PLUS to fight against Facebook, the authorities will not do anything that disturbs and irritate their members. Making Facebook a pay and use mechanism will only help in reducing the number of people using it and will literally promote other sites especially Google plus. Please do not put such senseless messages as your status because if you do so, you are spreading a spam message.

GLOBAL HACKING INCIDENT SPREADS FEAR AND APPREHENSION

A dreadful cyber attack has affected the security of hundreds of thousands of electronic key fobs used by Australian banks and their customers, the Defence Force and organisations such as the Tax Office to access computer systems.
RSA, a security division of the US data storage giant EMC, has clarified that it would reissue an unknown number of the estimated 40 million RSA SecurID key fobs used worldwide.
SecurID key fobs are small, portable devices that generate a digital security code that changes every 60 seconds. They are most commonly used with a static PIN or password to access a computer system.

RSA security ID
In spite of earlier warnings that the company had been the victim of "an extremely sophisticated cyber attack" the customers did not take necessary caution to prevent such an unfortunate incident happening.

RSA's admission follows an attack on the defence contractor Lockheed Martin who revealed an attacker had tried to access its network using information about the key fobs stolen from RSA in the earlier attack last March. But it had stopped the attacker stealing any information.

''Certain characteristics of the attack on RSA indicated that the perpetrator's most likely motive was to obtain an element of security information that could be used to target defense secrets and related [intellectual property],'' RSA said on its website.
The Department of Parliamentary Services had 1800 of the key fobs used by staff and MPs.

The Department of Veterans' Affairs was considering RSA's offer to replace the key fobs at no cost. Westpac Bank said it did not see an immediate need to replace its customer key fobs as it had ''not been compromised''. The Tax Office was arranging replacements.

The attack meant many organisations would see a need to beef up their security.
To be successful an attacker would need certain information from the fob's user, such as the user name and PIN or password.

This can often be swiped by a user handing over their details in an email to a hacker pretending to be from the organisation that issued the fob. Without some of these details it would be difficult for a hacker to gain entry to a network.

GOOGLE'S PLUS 1 (+1 ) TO IMPROVE SEARCH RESULTS

Google comes out with a way to prevent this with the help of users interaction.

+1 icon will appear below each post

The plus1 (+1) icon will appear below every post and if the user finds this a good document he can recommend it by pressing the icon and he will be directed to a popped out window. He will be asked to confirm it and by doing so we recommend the page to the outside world.

GOOGLE'S MOST SHOCKING SEARCH RESULTS | FUNNY SEARCH RESULTS

Google has a terrific feature called instant search which tries to anticipate our search term or phrase. It is definitely helpful at almost all occasions. Nevertheless to err is not only applicable to human but also to google. These interesting suggestions are made by google when I was searching with a different intention.
They are shocking and at the same time funny.

1. I wanted to know what "google is"?
I thought it would give a suggestion like "google is a search engine" or
"google is god" but I got a very weird complaint about google-"google is making us stupid"

2. I tried with hollywood. "Hollywood is".
Google told me that "Hollywood is like highschool with money"

3. When I got that result I just attempted some hollywood movies. Since Harry Potter is a recent movie I just wanted to know where Harry Potter's whereabouts. I typed "Harry Potter is in"
Oops....."Harry Potter is in a bra"

4. Marriage is always a matter of surprise and wish. I wished to know which climate would be the best for marriage.
Is it when there is rain or snow or when it is sultry. "I will marry when"
Google was over-anxious about what I gain with marriage. It told me to marry someone when I need "a pdf"

5. Then I wanted to check what google feels about spouses. What would be the metaphor google gives for wife?
"Wife is like"....google is living in a world of hardwares and softwares. So it told me "Wife is like a software" and the poet in google also compared wife to "an umbrella"

6. What will happen if you kill a spider? Your house will be clean, right?
But Google is very superstitious. He warned me that "if you kill a spider it will rain"

7. Everyone knows that "Italy is a country". I just wanted to seek "Italy is in which continent?". Google suggested me it is better to check "Italy is in which country". Probably he was teasing me for wasting his time searching such silly questions.

8. Since Bin Laden was killed I just wanted to know whether Google was aware of his whereabouts. I searched" Bin laden is in".
Google was certain that Bin Laden is definitely in hell right now. Google also suspects places like washington, dc, america, yemen, afghanistan, pakistan, iran and soudi arabia. FBI never suspected China but Google certainly did, probably Google was vindictive due to its row with China.

But Google was 100% sure that Bin Laden never lies in a cave.

9. Has Obama invented something? Google says Obama invented car, automobile and INTERNET. Poor Vincent Serf!

What would Obama eat? Well, Google says he eats many things but the most weird of all "he eats babies"

10. Sarah Palin may be stupid, idiot and hot according to google. But is there a reason for alleging her a "russian spy?"
